250th Community Celebration

On July 2, 2026 at the South Shorn Barn Laketown hosted a celebration honoring the 250th American Anniversary. Neighbors, Friends and Relatives all enjoyed a free dinner of pulled pork, BBQ chicken, salads, watermelon and soft serve ice cream. The evening included lots of conversations, yard games, kids running up and down the big mound and a concert by the Sean Moon Band. The evening ended with popcorn and a spectacular Fireworks Show. Thank you to all those who helped make this event happen.
