Senator John Curtis
On June 26 Senator John Curtis embarked on his journey on a multi-day 250-mile walk across Utah to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. His 250-mile journey began in Dingle, Idaho the birth place of the Senator’s mother, and continued into Utah, where he was welcomed in Laketown by Mayor Brandon Willis and Council Member Burdette Weston. Senator Curtis also spent time visiting with several members of our community, before continuing his journey through Round Valley and on up Cottonwood Canyon Rd. Senator Curtis will end his journey at the Stadium of Fire event on July 4th at the BYU Lavell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah.
